Another random installment of Thankful Thursday! Life is pretty crazy right now. We are 17 days away from our soft launch at Connexion, so the preparations are full speed ahead!!! Even though it is crazy, I am very thankful for so much right now!
- I am so blessed to be a part of a group of people who’s greatest desire is to reach the unreached and connect the unconnected…and really live that out, no matter what.
- Our launch team is amazing. I am so thankful for everyone who is putting in countless hours to make December 7th a reality.
- We are blessed to have Jason and Sherry in our lives. It is so nice to have another “ministry/church planting wife” to live life with…plus our kids adore their kids!
- The prayer support and financial support from friends and family across the country that allowed Jason to come onboard in September.
- I continue to stand in awe at how God has worked out the details-and continues to do so.
- My husband - who is doing exactly what God has uniquely created him to do. I never cease to be energized by his passion for this community.
- My kids- for keeping me grounded during the crazy excitement of the preparations for our launch.
- Some rest is coming amidst the craziness next week, when we travel and spend some time with family and friends.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Here are a few things I’m thankful for this week…
- Getting to spend the afternoon with Abbie thanks to Early Dismissal.
- Getting to enjoy the tastiest quesadillas I’ve had in a while!
- Cool, autumn weather…and leaves are starting to fall!!!
- Listening to Abbie read, and watching Peyton listen with anticipation.
- Finally getting some “real” family photos taken this past weekend.
- Knowing that dinner is almost completely cooked for me when I get home tonight!
- Getting to have some down time at night…and watch some of my favorite shows…I love my DVR!
- It’s Thursday…so the weekend is right around the corner!
What are you thankful for today?
I’m resurrecting Thankful Thursday! So here are ten things I’m thankful for this week.
1. My husband–who isn’t afraid to chase God-sized dreams.
2. Our new home–I absolutely love it…we are blessed.
3. Awesome friends and family that helped us make this move possible!
4. The conversations I get to have with Peyton on the way to “school”…he is so observant to every detail of a conversation.
5. The YUMMY lemon bar I’m about to have for dessert from Baker’s Peak–SO GOOD!
6. My mother-in-law for coming up to help get Abbie to and from school this week while Jason is gone.
7. New friends…and laughter.
8. Getting to cook in my kitchen–and watch the kids in the other room–at the same time!!!
9. The smile my son gives me first thing in the morning…like I’m the best thing he could see (thanks for liking the bed-head).
10. Grey’s Anatomy is coming back next week! Come on…I had to throw that one in there!

Sometimes, when life happens we can easily lose our perspective. I’ve been inspired to actually write down things I’m thankful for on a regular basis. So, here’s the first of a weekly installment of Thankful Thursday.
Today I am grateful for…
1. Healthy kids…finally.
2. Co-workers who have my best interest at heart.
3. A husband who is more than willing to take care of me when I’m sick.
4. Bottled water.
5. The Tension Tamer tea my mom got me for Christmas.
6. Finally being able to take a deep breath without going into a coughing fit!
7. Being challenged by people I’ve never met.
8. Knowing God is moving in the hearts of people.
9. Being married to a man who loves God more than he loves me.
10. LOST is tonight!
