I haven’t posted since before Christmas. Not that I don’t have anything to say…I just haven’t had the time/desire to sit down and blog about it. Forgive me.
Consider this an extended blogging break. Life is flying by at a super-fast pace, and honestly…I’ve just been enjoying more time with my family. I plan to get back to blogging soon, but after the craziness of the next week or so. We’ve just had so much busy-ness…at work, at home, at church. I am in the middle of prepping for a bridal expo this weekend.
So, for the next week or so I will probably post some pictures or cute things my kids keep coming up with–and some fabulous giveaways I’ve come across…but please don’t expect anything too thought provoking!

Are you still searching for that “one thing” that is perfect for someone on your list? I actually surprised myself this year and had most of my presents done by Thanksgiving, but I’m usually not that good.
Recently, I have been turned on to Etsy…an online marketplace of handmade items. One store I love is The Vintage Pearl. I was kicking myself when I surfed on over today and realized that she has closed her shop for the rest of December because, well…everyone else loved her shop too!

Unfortunately, I haven’t had too much to blog about because things have been VERY busy the last couple of days. I am SO looking forward to this weekend and getting to spend some quality time with my family.
The cord is still MIA, so my picture uploading is still on hold. 
Hopefully it will be found today now that I have some time to really look for it.

So, I’ve decided to start a new blog. Many of you know that I finally began scrapbooking over the summer after several years of thinking and talking about starting. I absolutely love it, but I feel so far behind! I have 5 years of Abbie’s photos, and 3 years of Peyton (although unfortunately Peyton did suffer from 2nd child syndrome and we don’t have nearly the number of photos of him). It seems like I might never catch up!!!
It’s amazing looking back over the years of photos, because there are so many moments that I thought I would never forget that are starting to get fuzzy even now. As I go to journal each of those pages, I think…what was that word that she could never say right, but was SO cute!?!
So, in order to help myself not miss those moments, I’ve decided to start this blog. Probably more for myself than anything! But, my children are a constant source of entertainment for us, and I know many friends and family enjoy the stories as well. So come by and enjoy the daily dose of insight and humor from the kids.
I’ll also try and post some of my progress on the scrapbook albums. My goal for 2008 is to complete 100-125 pages, so we’ll see how that goes!
